The Lost World of Tambun Trip

All Malaysian Bloggers Project in collaboration with Sunway organized another trip in Tambun last friday(10/10/08). It was a 2 day 1 night trip which I don't know much of the details, probably because I called in a day before to register myself(it was the kitten who asked me to go).

So here's the things in my bag, 2 T-shirts, 1 shorts and 3 underwears. You might be asking me "Hey, Tambun is a water park you silly, why didn't bring your swimming trunks?" Well, during my Sabah trip I forgot to bring back one of my luggage which consist of my favourite T-shirt and my antique swimming trunk. Anyway, when I arrive at Menara The Star, I was quite surprise to see everyone (bloggers like me) holding big bags (probably enough clothings for a week) as if they were going to some boot camp. Over there, I met a few familiar faces, especially Joyce the kid who ended up becoming my tent mate(at first I thought we will be sleeping in hostel).

Mayflower, a tour agency was generous enough to sponsor us bloggers a comfortable bus to our destination. One of the great things about the trip was the food! Sunway did a really good job in filling us up. The destination was relaxing as well, especially with 24 hours of accessible hot spring(I actually sneak into the hot spring 5am in the morning so I can jump into the spring naked =P).

The night was kinda hard for me to sleep tho. It was an itchy night, probably because I built my tent near some ant farm. Day 1 was free and easy for us bloggers, walking around the park finding great scenes for snapshots. Day 2 was a tad more challenging, I actually chose mountain climbing over tunneling since the tunnel is soaked with water of dont-know-how-many-years and I'm on my leisure leather shoes. Got myself a few souvenirs when the climb if over with leech bites and grass cuts, oh heck...what can you expect? =P

Return journey was the best! Like I said earlier, comfortable bus by Mayflower. Everyone was feeling dead tired and turned into a sleeping beauty with a beautiful nap on the bus for 2-3 hours!

But did you really have enough time to explore everything besides skinny dipping in the hot spring!
